Hymn Sing and Service Sunday

On every Fifth Sunday, Madison Presbyterian Church holds a unique and meaningful Hymn Sing and Service Sunday. We come together to sing beloved hymns, allowing the choir a well-deserved break to sit with their families. Afterward, we join forces to work on a service project and share a potluck meal, strengthening our bond as a church family.

Hymn Sing, Service, and Potluck! Join us at 11:00 in the Sanctuary for Hymn Sing. Then, we will gather in the Fellowship Hall to write and decorate cards of encouragement for our military and first responders. We will wrap up by sharing a meal together. Bring a dish to share, dress casually, and join us on Sunday!

Notes about Worship at MPC
Welcome!

We are so glad you are here. For those visiting MPC, please introduce yourself to our pastor, Courtney Pittman, or one of the ushers.
We want to celebrate your presence! We know you have a lot on your plate, so we are thrilled you chose to spend your Sunday morning at MPC!

  • Nursery
While children are always welcome in worship, a nursery is available for children under 4.

  • Children’s Church
Children aged four and up are invited to join our leaders for fun and faith in Children’s Church in the fellowship building following Let the Children Come.
Pick-up immediately follows the service in the fellowship hall.

  • Stewardship
If you feel called to give today, ushers will pass around the offering plates during the Invitation to Generosity.
Giving is also available online at https://madisonpresbyterian.church/generosity.

  • Language—The words we use are important! So often, we go into “autopilot” during worship, and we miss the meaning of the words we say each Sunday.
Some words in our liturgy will change monthly to be more conscious of the language we use during worship, but please know that you may pray in whatever way you feel comfortable. We are family here!
